SEO Strategy

SEO Strategy is a bit more complicated than “Build X Page” – a good SEO strategy is tailored to your business, your business goals, and how your website really is.

From a quick audit to an in depth audit and analysis, a SEO strategy can be outlined, covering what your website has, what it needs, and how to get it done. Tailored to your website.

This could be anything from building new pages, cleaning up current pages, internal linking, creating content to building links from external sites.

What each website needs is completely individual, and there is no one-size fits all strategy.

High Level SEO Strategy

A high level strategy can be quickly outlined from a basic audit.

A number of factors can impact what’s involved in the strategy your website needs, and are rolled into the analysis and recommendations, including:

  • Your industry
  • Your niche within the industry
  • Your business model
  • Your website CMS/Platform
  • How you monetise
  • The resources, time and expertise you have to build your website

A strategy which is going to take you 30 hours a week if you only have 5 hours every week isn’t going to be useful for you, nor is spending $10k a month if you’re only making $5k!

Any strategy I outline, plan or assist with is done with your business, time and resources in mind.

In Depth SEO Strategy

An in depth strategy comes from an in depth audit and analysis of your website, and is a lot more detailed in nature.

This strategy may include:

  • Technical SEO fixes, including whether they’ll require developer support or can be made by you or I
  • Opportunities for new pages to bring in more traffic and customers
  • On page optimisations to improve your targeting based on Organic Search data
  • Content optimisation and creation to increase the reach of your pages, improving brand awareness and traffic to your site
  • Off page analysis and recommendations to help boost the authority of your website and rank higher within the Search Engine Result Pages (SERPs)
  • Further areas of support which can help reduce the burden on your time or other areas of your business (less customer calls because their questions are already answered? More time doing the work!)
